Bear

Dwaine Prine

 Dubuque Iowa

Robin,

Bear is doing great.  He is up to about 30 lbs now.  He attends e-collar training at That's My Dog, Inc. in Hazel Green, WI.  He is an exceptional dog that is meeting and exceeding all our expectation.  So far he is very healthy and has great temperament.  I am looking at possibly training him for search and rescue.  We will see how his training progresses.

His obedience training is going great.  He has mastered sit, down, wait, place, heel, recall, going through tunnels and over "small" obstacles.  He is young and we don't want to push him hard, he is just a natural.   He is also very tolerant of noises.  Most noises do not seem to bother him at all.

Molly

Hi, Robin and Dorothy!

Molly is doing great!  She is growing up fast and is so smart.  She has learned a lot already.  We take her to puppy classes on Sunday afternoons for 1 1/2 hours.  She is almost always chosen to be the good example!
Also, she goes to doggy daycare in Coralville (Just Dogs Daycare) on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons where she plays with several other puppies, various breeds.  She always comes home tired and hungry!

We have been asked several times where we got her and always share that.  Just y'day we took her to Petco in CR and a dog food rep there wanted to know.

Best regards to you all,

Xena

Katherine Smith

 Beaufort North Carolina

Robin, just wanted to thank you once again for Xena.

She really is 100% Malinois....very bitey, and VERY affectionate...
...and she is BIG!  The biggest malinois puppy I've ever personally seen!
All that loose puppy skin and those big paws...wow.  She sounds like a horse
clunkin around on our porch.

Our older dogs are keeping their distance, but our youngest Malamute,
Cessna, is Xena's shadow, it's so funny.  They have played all morning, and
very soon Xena will actually be able to catch her!

Take good care, we'll keep you posted.  We have yet to introduce her to the
cats....sure hope all goes well!  I'll be in touch~

Moxie

Litter B

Robin,
Sorry for the long delay in the progress report of Moxie.....  She is a wonderful, and extremely high energy Belgium Malinois.... Please take note that the little runt of the litter is 6 months old, approx. 21" 1/2 from the ground to the center of her back and she weighs in at 54lbs. I was told by my veterinarian she is still going to grow some more.... She chip implanted, AKC registered and completely updated with all her shots.  I have had some issues with her behavior because she treats me as a playmate instead of the mater..... You can see were that become a problem....... So, my veterinarian recommended a trainer specific to the breed.

I contacted K9 Academy International and talked to the owner Nino Islamcevic. He suggested that he meet Moxie first, to find out her drive and temperament before giving any recommendation's.  While, we meant and he was very impressed with Moxie's temperament, drive and some of the basic commends given to Moxie and that she was able to learn quickly.  He also wanted to test Moxie at some kind of sport training and was again impressed with Moxie's abilities. He stated that not vary many dogs pass though his facility that have Moxie's abilities.. He stated that this was a natural ability past down through Moxie's bloodline. Ninno wanted to know the breeder's name, which I gave to him and a copy of the bloodline..... So, I'm sending Moxie to  K9 Academy International for six (6) week in-house boarding, training for basic and advance training.

I hope I'm molding a good future for the bonding between Moxie and myself....... Moxie has so much working drive that it's hard to control. I'll need to do something with her intelligents and drive... Hopefully something will work out for the both of us....

Have a good day
